Somewhere in the high 20s now.

My first show was at the Astoria in London.

The furthest shows I've been to were the two Glasgow (it's further in distance than Paris! weird bit o' shinfo I just discovered)

The closest show was at Camden Underworld in Landan.

My personal favourites wereeeee:
a. The first of the Astoria 2 shows. The first time Uz ever drunk = total carnage.
b. Paris. The venue was bangin' and it felt awesome being abroad for a show. Bumping into an American fan seeing them in Paris was surreal too!
c. King Tuts this Feb. That venue was awesome and it was just a pretty wicked night.

No Nicola, it's not a race, but it is a fact.

Another fact is I might not go to Birmingham to see them supporting 30STM as it's my evening class night (furniture making, second year - making a chest of drawers in maple - if you wondered). If I don't go I shall offer my ticket as a gift to a poverty striken Birmingham or Coventry fan.

Talking to the security guard outside before hand, 'We had Paolo Nutini last week here, everything will be fine'.
Then the ES set gets cut 4 songs in cause the place nearly got torn down...

Thanks, Alex.

I couldn't find anywhere cheap to stay; all the cheap places have no vacancies.
I'm driving back afterwards. I'm taking a friend with me, (Jack) Jakari Flynn who I know will keeo awake on the 100 mile journey home.

I tend these days to go to venues where I haven't prevously seen them, with the exception of venues near to where I live, Leeds Festival, the Christmas Show at Hatfield, and any venue in the Netherlands, as I would have preferred growing up in the Netherlands rather than England, so I'll go there for almost any reason. In fact I want to go before the end of January 2011 to see an exhibition of the work of the Dutch architect and furniture designer, Gerrit Rietveld, at Etrecht Museum, so while ES are unlikely to be there in January, I'll make sure my visit coincides with a decent gig or two.
