Not a band but Plan B. His new album is amazing, plus I'm weirdly attracted to him as well.

I'm in the same boat as you here. If my mate asked me 6 months ago to see them with him I would have said no without hesitation. Now look how the tides have turned :L I pretty much like every song of theirs Smile

i find it funny how ADTR are kind of a big deal right now when i've got off them quite a bit. i think it's just because their past two albums, apart from the few stand-out easy 'choons' (the downfall of us all, all i want etc), are actually pretty weak. it all just stays on one level.

anyway, i have fallen completely in love with you me and everyone we know. every single lyric on some things just don't wash out (their full length) is pure poetry. regardless of your taste, i think everyone should give that album a couple of spins.

and if you don't like it even a little bit, then there's something wrong with you.

I'm still undecided, was only asking cos you'd said last time you mentioned them on Twitter you hadn't heard it yet. I still dunno which version of Livin' Th' Dream I prefer though.

Don't you just hate it when you fall in love with a band and then realise all the amazing chances you would've had to go see them live if you liked them earlier.

If i'd started listening to Man Overboard properly in November instead of a couple of days before the ES Hatfield gig I probably would've sold my mum to go to the Leeds show they did earlier on.

Yup. A band called Kingdoms did that to me. I really wish I could've went to their last show but it was 4 hours away and my parents weren't too keen on letting me go to shows in my hometown, let alone one four hours away.
