HAHAHA I've heard this song a few times and thought 'damn i really shouldn't like this'

Guilty pleasure at the moment is One Direction and i'm back on the crabcore again. Probs should be put down in the near future.

It's okay April, I hate The Wanted and was horrified to discover Glad You Came was by them.

One Direction however...
I downloaded Mariah Carey and 50 Cent songs tonight, also love Rack City. Shame.

I saw The Wanted the other night, this song live is epic, it's pretty scary seeing extremely high tiers of an arena bouncing up and down, I was convinced someone was going to fall down and die!

But everyone likes that song so you shouldn't feel guilty about it, it's a TUNE.

As for my guilty pleasures...I don't really feel guilty about liking anything!

Nah they're better haha. Tbf on them, though their fans are as bad as Justin Bieber's taking over social networking sites like Twitter they're actually nice guys. I've met Louis from 1D and he's a sound lad, turns off the radio straight away when a 1D song comes on apparently lmao!

1D are clean-cut and sweet. The Wanted aren't as monitered, they're always posting rude stuff on twitter, swearing and being naughty and what-not. 1D aren't allowed to behave like that, which is a shame as they're normal teenage boys and should behave as so! The Wanted's music is more grown up and their fans are generally older.

But both groups are awesome Very Happy

Gotta say I've watched some One Direction stuff on youtube last night. Can't say I like any of their songs at the moment but they seem like a decent group of guys.

I was absolutely pissing myself at their fangirls though. People are weeping and look like their about to pass out. C'mon, seriously? It's a group of guys you *may* do a double take if you noticed them on the street had they not been famous and here you are, loosing your marbles just because they have nice voices. They're just people for god sake, not like they're doing brain surgery.

I mean, don't they actually like the songs? Inaudible over the screaming.

Edit: GRRRR, you've got me watching live One Direction videos to lol at the fangirling.

You could say a similar thing about people who get absolutely rat-arsed at gigs and then go "lulz couldn't remember a thing from last night I was laggin innit" - don't those people like the songs?! At least the fangirls are screaming at something and will remember every tiny little detail the next day!

Ashamed that that video is a bunch of canadians. Jesus christ, I don't get how they can stand to sing while people are yelping so loud they can barely hear themselves sing.

That's true bess, why anyone gets shittered at a gig they paid good money for just to not remember it the next day is beyond me.

Exactly, I also think it's sad that people have to get drunk to enjoy a gig anyway, can't be much of a fan! Those fangirls will remember every hair flick, wink, move, word that is spoken and it's surprising how much you can hear above the screams when you're there (I've been there, done that on many occassion..!)

I love boybands. I don't even feel guilty about it, the world would be so dull without boybands or cheesy pop!

Hey, don't be knocking other peoples guilty pleasures. This is a happy thread about being accepted for the quirks!

Story time! Alex took me to the X-Factor tour last year, largely to see Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel. As I had zero interest in seeing 1D live, I took the opportunity to visit the loo during their set. On the way, I found that I wasn't allowed to cross the aisle for a few minutes, as two or three of them were running up the aisles as part of the act. I did not find this very impressive, as I don't like being pressed into a screaming crowd at the best of times, and I really needed a piss.
On my eventual return from the lavatory, I related this story to wor Alex. He replied, "Yes, I know. They were filming them as they went and I saw you on the massive screens on stage giving One Direction hacky looks."
