Thinking of going to Sonisphere 2011?

Post by kaya.anna on Wed 09 Feb 2011, 4:48 am

I went last year and it was sooo good. For anybody that hasn't been, I thoroughly recommend it, the atmosphere and people are just amazing.

Anywho, I've been appointed a Sonisphere Ambassador for my area, but I'm totally cool to answer any questions you may have, and to tell you about buying tickets.

I've been chosen by Sonisphere to help everyone know about this wondrous festival. Smile

Sonisphere is a massive rock festival, and its one of the most diverse ones I've been to.

If you are thinking about buying tickets then I urge you to read this...

As an ambassador I have a UNIQUE code to give you all; for when you buy a ticket online at http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/buy-tickets/

AND ONLY ON THAT LINK!

By entering this code, you all have the chance to win the following:

*THE ULTIMATE SONISPHERE PACKAGE (including)

-Rock Royalty Ticket upgrade (pretty much the posh way to do a festival) Check notes for full description)
-Guest Bar passes
-Backstage tours
-TONS of Sonisphere goodies
PLUS 2x Poland tickets (including flights)

SO INPUT THIS CODE AFTER YOU CLICK ON 'BUY TICKETS'
READ THE BLUE WRITING AT THE TOP AND CLICK THE LINK, YOU CAN'T MISS IT!

INPUT THE CODE and it will log the code in. Then proceed normally to buy WHATEVER ticket you want.

THE CODE IS: SF66NE

Please tell all your mates, its free!

Remember only this link:

hehe mate its not anything to buy, you just enter the code when you would normally buy a ticket, it just enters you into a competition.

Sonisphere were looking for ambassadors, if you look on the official page, I was chosen for Newcastle's. So i'll be promoting there, but the code is mine to give to whoever.

and not really, I'm only passing the message on from Sonisphere, but any Sonisphere related questions, please ask! I'm just letting you all know about the code if you are buying online!

Sorry! Should have read it first, didn't realise it said "win", had just relised and was about to edit my post. I may go to sonisphere this year, not too sure, line-up looks pretty rad. Haven't got the money to buy a ticket yet though, when does weekend camping usually sellout by?

hehe it's fine mate!

to be honest I went just for Rammsteing last year, I didn't even listen to most of the lineup and thoroughly enjoyed everyone. There's something about being outside that's mint! Just makes everything great, and the alcohol! Smile

Well do you know about the deposit scheme? You pay a small deposit and that keeps you a ticket until you can pay the rest of the balance? £50 deposit

http://www2.seetickets.com/sonisphere/super_pgroup.asp?code=527799&userid={53721672-7F75-4F91-876C-2BAEE20DAD1B}&filler1=id1sonisphere&filler2=multiid1sonisphere

anyway, I didn't hear of anything selling out till 2 months after, but people are expecting this to sell quicker. So I would recommend buying the deposit ticket thing first.

Ahhhhhh, not sure I would have the rest of the money together by then Sad got a load of boring responsiable stuff I need to spend money on over the next couple of months. I might still see if I can pick up a ticket once I have the money though. Thanks for the info though and the code thing Smile.
Just out of interest, whats the incentive for being an 'Ambassador'? Do you get cut price tickets I guess, like the volunteers at reading?

Oh right, thats pretty cool.
There is a sonisphere thread in the gigs section of the forum, I think a few people off here are thinking of going anyway, might be worth you posting this on there as well.
