BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend (Foo Fighters, Mcr..)

Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Plan B for Radio 1 Big Weekend
Chase & Status, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah also set for Carlisle event

Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, Plan B and Chase and Status are among the acts confirmed for this year's BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend.

The event will take place in Carlisle this year. Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, Professor Green and The Wombats are also on the line-up.

The bash takes place on May 14 and 15 at the Carlisle Airfield. Tickets will be free – see Bbc.co.uk/radio1 for details.

More acts for the bash, including the Main Stage May 15 headliners, are set to be announced soon.

You have to register for tickets from 6.30PM tomorrow on the BBC Radio 1 website.

Brilliant line-up for a free festival. Annoyed I can't go but alas you can't have everything...

Will def apply for tickets again, doubt i'll get any but worth a try like every year. The line ups pretty amazing as well.

Foos, Strokes and TDCC a just a few which makes me wanna go. Though some others are abit lame, but then I guess it is Radio 1 so they have to have a nice variety for everyone. Might as well apply anyways..
