Balls.

Ermmm, not too sure atm man. Think everyone is going to Jess' pregig, not sure if we're gonna go check in at the TLodge then go meet them or do it after. Pete needs to drop his stuff off and we're meeting him at Jess' so I guess it'll be after.

Interview thing on HMV with Rob and Chris, they said about the setlist for tonight at Borderline (I guess it'll be same in Camden tomorrow):

Spoiler:
said half the set is AFFOC, and then a 'couple' off TTTS and a 'few' off CD. And that Fanfare is going to make an appearance. That is about it really

Was a brilliant set last night, had such a good view. I know loads of people will say the venue was terrible, but its meant to be a club what do you expect. I was on the little balcony bit to the side of the stage and stayed there all night to keep the spot. Played so many good songs, good mix of old and new, although a couple of the old ones were a bit random or need to be taken out. Was lovely to speak to a few familiar faces.

If you wanted to be down in the crowd that venue was a fucking joke. Lost my shoe within 1 minute of the set. Setlist was alright, hope the March tour has a few more older songs though.
I understand its suppose to be a nightclub but it just doesn't work as gig venue, so many randomly placed barriers and steps.

it's an amazing gig venue, they just sold way too many tickets. last night had to be over packed.. Wheatus back in september was sold out too but you could actually move and drink in the venue. the fact you had to drink outside because of the under 18s was a joke, they shouldve just kept it at 18+. maybe they wouldnt have sold out, but maybe that wouldve been best.
as for the random barriers etc, it gives a chance for people to see something.
to be honest i had more fun in the pub beforehand, i could actually talk to people and drink affordable drinks.

What you said! Spot on. Totally didn't work for an actual band there. Ceiling too low above the stage which meant it was hard for anyone to see unless they were at the front of the dancefloor/balcony. Both my shoes came off 4 times as well, and I was only properly in the crowd for about one song in total. Was horrible! Grazed my hand on the stupid column bit at the side too, the way they boxed in the people at the front was so dangerous.

Oh well! They sounded great, even though I only saw them at the very end. Definitely my least fave ES gig, through no fault of the bands! However it was great to see so many familar faces Smile

You'd think seeing Sachin Tendulker at a Shikari gig would be a BIG deal.

So apparently our very own Warnerbro has a full page pic in the latest Kerrang! Borderline show review.

Anyone fancy getting scans of it and whacking them up on here for our overseas friends to see?
