Plastic sofas will do nicely, if that's fine? Looking at numbers, i can't see there being many attending. Just me and chumba and yourself attending isn't it?

Cool man. Yeah I think it's just us

it's like 5-10min walk from the cockpit across town anyway so it ain't a bother.

this show will rule, just weird it being on a wednesday at the cockpit.
"rock" shows usually are tuesday or saturday to coincide with their rock clubnights, but it wasn't possible to combine so here's the following clubnight.

i've never attended and i bet it's dogshit. i can't imagine walking round the cockpit without hearing Paramore and Fall Out Boy in the night.

Right guys, people that are heading to the Kingston show the night before, how shall we go about getting to Leeds?

Ideally it would be awesome if we could get a lift off somebody to Kings Cross, otherwise we need to train it from Kingston which is quite hefty.

I'll be driving back from Kingston, and Leeds is on the way - I'm more than happy to give up to four of you a lift.

SHOTGUN MIDDLE OF THE BACKSEAT

Fixed.

Srsly though, for the comfort of all travelling, I would recommend that whoever is the broadest sits up front, and whoever's tallest sits behind me. It's only a wee little Peugeot so it doesn't have the widest back seat, and I have to pull my seat all the way forward to reach the pedals on account of my stump legs.

It's also vital that the shortest person sits in the middle, to reduce as much as possible the restrictions in viewing of the rear-view mirror. Sorry Chumba...

Reckon I can widen myself in the space of two weeks. They've recently introduced a steak challenge nearby. GAME ON.

Two weeks of steak vs a lifetime of living in Scotland. This could be interesting, lads.

Got this email yesterday btw:

Hello there

Thanks again for your order. It has been decided that tickets for this event are TO BE COLLECTED ON THE NIGHT OF THE GIG FROM THE VENUE. This applies to all bookings. The CDs will not be taken to the venue - they are to be collected from the shop or posted out as previously arranged.

When you arrive at the venue, please be ready to provide ID and your reference number if required. This will hopefully make it easier and quicker for door staff at the venue and for yourselves.

We apologise for any confusion surrounding this, and thank you for your patience. As you can imagine it has been difficult to co-ordinate everything at quite short notice over the Christmas period.

We hope you all enjoy the gig, and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further enquiries.

Thanks
Jumbo Records

As some of you have already asked for, here's the official details about the gig. Hope you all have a good time.

Jumbo Records

Names on the door, you must bring ID for proof of purchase so they can match names on the list. If your ticket was booked by a friend or relative, I'd recommend taking ID for them as well as yourself to avoid any confusion.

Support is Fine Young Firecrackers, from Liverpool.

Doors 7pm

FYF 8.00pm

ES 9:15pm - 10:30pm

curfew 11pm

News on support and collection of tickets. Incase somehow people don't get the e-mail.
