With some of the biggest bands and the greatest audience in the world, we hope the weekend of 6 – 8 July will be unforgettable for fans. Opening the campsite gates for the first time is still my favourite moment of the festival weekend and I can’t wait to see you all in July!."

T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2012 from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July with early entry available on Thursday 5th July with a line-up that will see over 180 artists playing over 11 stages with the previously confirmed headliners The Stone Roses, plus Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Florence + The Machine, The Maccabees, The Horrors, Miles Kane, The Vaccines, Maverick Sabre, Frank Turner, and Two Door Cinema Club.

A Saturday or Sunday day ticket £77.50
Friday only £70

No under 5s. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 21+ with a full priced ticket.

thos of you wishing to go, T sells out VERY quickly. English based folks: It may be an idea to find out if any local ticket/record shops are doing tickets and walking in there on the day.
Theres a load more acts to be announced, I may or may not be there, I might actually be artist liason at one of the stages (down to the last 6 in the recruitment) so i cant even buy a ticket.

Sooooo good. Very rainy, but the crowd were loving 'em. Much better than Hackney in my opinion, but I'm a bit gutted they didn't play Arguing or Tyrannosaurus.
Also, for the first time I've heard, there was chants of "You should fucking headline" rather than "here we fucking go", so that was nice. Lads looked chuffed.
