My review for ticketmaster:

5 / 5 Shikari Premiere Fantastic New AlbumEnter Shikari @ HMV Picture House @ - Edinburgh @ , @ - Thu 27 Aug 2009 @
Favourite moment: Opening with Solidarity, the surge of people and energy let you know in that moment this would be a gig to remember. @
Setlist: Solidarity No Sssweat Antwerpen (swing) Labyrinth Step Up into The Jester Sorry, You're Not A Winner No Sleep Tonight Havoc B Mothership (rewind) Juggernauts Enter Shikari The Feast Hectic Anything Can Happen OK, Time For Plan B!. @
Opening act(s): The Living End @
Posted 30/08/2009 by Kappa99 Location: GlasgowEdinburgh was home to the first Enter Shikari show in Scotland since Sophomore album "Common Dreads" was released and outside the venue, despite typical Scottish Summer rain, anticipation in the now famous Enter Shikari fanbase was high.
As the new banner dropped down behind drummer Rob Rolfe's drum kit, the anticipation grew, the chants of "Shikari" began to form in small pockets around the HMV picturehouse- a rapidly growing showpiece for live music in Scotland.
After an electric pre-show atmosphere reached fever-pitch, the lights dimmed, the crowd bellowed out a roar that could surely be heard in the backstage dressing room by the band, and St Albans fourpiece Enter Shikari were set to unleash their monster on the Edinburgh Festival.
Opening to Solidarity, a strong introduction relayed the message tat the current world is "madness", Rou Reynolds preached to his disciples that he was here "To unite, through Common Dreads".
Cue an ear piercing trance opening and a ripping guitar riff from Rory Clewlow on guitar, and Enter Shikari were on their way.
Mixing up crowd pleasers from 2007's "Take To the Skies" including No Sssweat, Labyrinth, crowd favourite Sorry, You're Not A Winner with massive Radio 1 hit Juggernauts, new single No Sleep Tonight and other anthems-in the making such as Step Up and Hectic, Enter Shikari were quite simply whipping the crowd known as being "Glasgows little, quieter brother" into a frenzy that could match any city anywhere in the UK.
Closing down the set with old fan favourite "Enter Shikari" the band left the stage to monumental cheers and pleas from the crowd-many of whom probably had parents sitting outside in cars to get them to bed in time for school the next morning- for "One more tune".
Not wanting to disappoint, the band returned, re-opening with B Side favourite "The Feast" and closing on OK, Time for plan B! a song synonomous in the Shikari ranks with Human Pyramids being created in the crowd.
After a second, long farewell to the crowd, the band could retire backstage safe in the knowledge that 1200 fans had eaten out of their palm, and would definetly be back for more.
