Bad times.

Aw dear. Peado.
Spelt it wrong. IT'S PEEDO.

When you shorten it, its peed. SOmething to do with grammar, but its only pae at the start of the full word because of the letters after it, so when shortened, gramatically, it should be pee.

If you're shortening it to pea-do, then it's still spelt "paedo". At least it is in Britain.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Rangers not losing in the last 5 Old Firm games...

Incidents of domestic abuse on Old Firm match days have fallen by almost a quarter, according to Strathclyde Police.

The force has been targeting offenders with a known history of domestic violence ahead of games in a bid to tackle the problem.

The number of attempted murders and serious assaults have also fallen.

During a crackdown on domestic violence more than 2,000 offenders were arrested.

In the same period there was a 24% reduction in the number of cases reported to police.

Officers worked in conjunction with the Domestic Abuse Task Force.

Last year Scotland's biggest police force published figures showing a 41% increase in domestic violence on days when Celtic and Rangers met in league or cup clashes.

We welcome any reduction in figures and believe that our intervention tactics are having a positive impact

Det Ch Insp Peter McPike
Strathclyde Police
Strathclyde Police said many of the incidents after Old Firm games were fuelled by excessive drinking.

Extra officers were drafted in on match days to help prevent violence and disorder, and to visit pubs ahead of the game.

Officers also visited the homes of known offenders. More than 800 perpetrators of domestic abuse were targeted prior to the Old Firm match on 3 January.

The force said that on average, over the past five Old Firm games, domestic abuse had fallen by 23%, with attempted murders down by 29%.

There had also been a 32% fall in serious assaults and breach of the peaces incidents were down by 23%.

Officers arrested more than 2,000 offenders during the crackdown
Detective Chief Inspector Peter McPike said: "We are now placing a much greater emphasis on challenging offending behaviour and focusing on the perpetrators of this crime.

"What we are seeking to achieve is a reduction in the number of victims of this type of crime by focusing our efforts towards targeting repeat offenders and serial offenders and making our position absolutely clear that this type of behaviour is unacceptable and that, with our partners, we will continue to challenge those who are responsible.

"We welcome any reduction in figures and believe that our intervention tactics are having a positive impact.

He added: "We are, however, far from complacent and will continue to challenge those who commit domestic abuse and violence whilst encouraging victims, their friends and families to report any concerns they may have to us."

I need loads of votes to win an online photography-competition.
I used THIS photo.

The subject is 'Somewhere on the road' and you have to write a story along the picture.
It would be lovely if you like my photo and voted for me? Wink

Translation of the writing:

STORY OF THE PICTURE?
From an artistic point of view, this picture shows the opposite effects of ‘Light’ on the artificial, the graffiti. As you approach the turn, the graffiti fades by the overflow of sunlight.
While light should give art more dimension, it can have the opposite effect.
From an philosophical look of life, this alley can be seen as the human path of life.
As a child you depend on the choices of others, at this point the graffiti is the most obvious.
As you grow up and get older, the graffiti fades by the eternal flow of choices.
Every human being walks this path, but for each person the graffiti is different.
Some have loads of unstable tiles and more turns on their road, others see their very last turn way sooner then they expected..

HOW DID YOU MAKE THIS PHOTO?
A sunny Saturday afternoon brought me to the Werregaren-street, better known as the Graffiti Alley in Gent (Belgium). After 5 minutes I’d walked through this alley multiple times and photographed it from different angles. It’s never easy to make a photo without any people on it, in such a small and busy alley.

Similar problem around where I live, but the train station is the problem.

The council are to lazy to put in parking permits to residents, so wont put in lines where there are no driveways.

Friend has been stung by fines for parking his car outside his house during certain hours, he doesnt have his own driveway.

And another mate, can never park outside his house when he gets back from work due to station parkers who arrive after he has left for work.

My mate found this incredibly terrible Harry Potter fanfiction, by an illiterate goth. It brought tears of sadness and horror to my eyes.
