so what are we expecting

Post by chris_dreads on Thu 24 Dec 2009, 12:36 am

from the teens? (if thats even the correct term? i suppose once its 2013 its correct, if we make it past 2012)

or what would you like to see, as in inventions. perhaps a car that runs on newspaper or a computer so powerful, it can create virtual reality?

go on, dream Razz

More alternative sources of fuel.
Price of everything to go up..

On the good side of things.. 128-bit computing, terabytes to become the norm, OLED monitors.
Cars to become more efficient, biodiesel or more hybrid cars, something like that.

Other than that I'm not sure.

Hollywood will continue to dumb down and destroy cinema.
China, along with India and Brazil will continue bloating into massive powers.
We will probably give in and accept the Euro.

I'm expecting to grow a beard over the next decade too.

I'm expecting this to fail, until near the end of the decade when possibly it may grow.

If there was another World War there would be a nuclear fallout. It's unlikely to happen.

Really wouldn't be the end of the world, just the end of humanity (or a drastic change to humanity) if there was a nuclear/chemical war.

I'll post what I think will happen later

The Third World War will be fought with nukes and tanks.

The Fourth will be with sticks and stones.

Didn't Eintstein say that? (I think Call of Duty 4 taught me that)

But anyways I think that cars will become increasingly more environmentally friendly, but not completely green. We'll probably still be in Afghanistan/Iraq. Another twilight movie will probably be made. And honestly I predict that the House and Senate will probably be made up of mostly republicans after the 2010 and 2012 elections because of dumbasses who watch Glen Beck (as for American politics.)

But on a positive side, I think ES will become much bigger in the US. I hope the rest of the world will start looking at the US with more approving eyes (if Obama can get shit done.) And I think schools will get increasingly more challenging.
