Forecast is for sun with the odd light shower, slightly below average temperature.

Remember guys, if your going out at night, you'l be openly mocked by the locals for wearing a jacket in Newcastle.

Evolution T&C's wrote:Please be advised that in accordance with the licensed capacity of each of the Evolution arenas, ticket holders are not automatically guaranteed entry to any particular arena once they are full. If either of the arenas reach their licensed capacity, admission will be on a "one-in, one-out" basis.

Anyone know what the capacities of the arenas are? Does it basically mean we're gonna have to be in relatively early to make sure we get in for ES?

It holds 30,000 in total but apparently it can get really crammed during certain bands, so Id suggest getting there at a decent time. i want to see Hadouken but not jeapordising a good mosh for ES.
I plan to get there for Ellie Goulding/Everything Everything and just stay there.I will try and update after Sunday, but I might not have net access.

Steve, theres over 20 of us, and 1 room is booked. I suggested a 2nd room but no one has, so some people may be asked by the hotel staff to leave, although we'v only ever had to do that when Matt lees has been there (Im ignoring the Etap incident because it was Etap, and we had someone from Linwood with us).

played juggernauts before encore, then encore was SYNAW & OKTFPB, which is slightly different. shorter set than usual too, bout as exciting as it gets.
think it was, probs wrong order (think Nicola got a setlist so she could edit it):

Solidarity
Step Up
Mothership
Anything Can Happen
The Jester
No Sweat
Zzzonked
Gap In The Fence
Hectic
No Sleep Tonight
Juggernauts

I would of got a set list (potentially 2!) if the sercuirty weren't so pushy! We were literally just about to get passed it and the sercurity made us move away.

I thought the gig was alright, the crowd was ok in places. Not amused by the kids who thought it was highly amusing to throw water constantly which is annoying in itself, but they managed to soak my camera twice! The sound was really quiet which was a shame.

We didn't end up going to any other stages as we got told the other stage was full for example so didn't bother.

I remember there being this cunt that was built like a brick shithouse, and he was standing in the middle of a pit for 5 minutes solid just punching anything that came remotely near him, surprised no-one got knocked out by him, he must have thrown over 60 punches, and I bet over half of those landed. Nutter lol.
