Nowt wrong with a bit of open discussion though? Its been being discussed since the 90s so hardly jjust out of date.

I personally think that yes, climate is changing but its a natural thing.

Whos cars and factories ended the ice age??

So do the scientists who say Global Warming is man made.

Well, the emails they send each other that were leaked, proving they just make up facts to fit the governments policy seems to say so.

My history teacher put this in a really good way. He said regardless of your point of view if global warming is man made or not, (at this time he pointed to a picture of a factory belching out smoke) he said most people should agree that this isn't good for the environment. We should all make the effort to cut down on factory/car pollution, because that isn't natural.

I don't know how scientific this is, but my question is: a lot of pollution is a form of carbon (carbon dioxide, monoxide, some form) and that carbon goes into the carbon cycle. Well the carbon cycle is a natural part of the world, working without any extra additions by humans. But if humans do add to it in the form of pollution, wouldn't that mean that more carbon particles are present in the cycle, and more particles moving creates more kinetic energy and thus more heat, and if it happens on such a large scale, could that perhaps contribute to global warming? As I said, this is just an idea I had so I don't know if it's realistic or not.

We're doing stuff like this in geography.
We looked at charts and stuff that show consistent warming and cooling of the earth over millions of years.
But if people want a quick solution to global warming they need to prod Yellowstone and make it explode as it's well overdue. Half of America will be fucked over if the winds are blowing East and the aerosols that will be sent up into the atmosphere will cool the earth by a good 5 or 6 degrees. Maybe more, need to look at notes.
